Here at Youngs we believe in environmentally responsible practices in our industry. A large portion of our products have been produced with eco-friendly elements and sustainable materials, and selected specifically to reflect our ever-increasing support of this responsible manufacturing and production.

Many of our products contain or have been produced with one or more of the following eco-friendly materials and/or practices:

• Natural materials such as cotton, jute, wool, linen, hemp, silk, bamboo
• Water based finishes, stains, or paints
• Recycled fiber and soy-based filling for the cushions
• Recycled steel cushion springs
• Some organic fabrics have been used to eliminate bleaching processes

A large portion of our furniture has also been produced to starndards and guidelines under the memberships of the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC), Sustainable Forestry Initiative (SFI), and the Sustainable Furniture Council (SFC) environmental groups.
